Mini Cob Cutter
The Mini Cob cutter was designed to have a thru put of + – 6000 cobs per hour, depending on the speed of the feeder operator.
The cobs are fed into the cutter by means of a variable speed conveyor belt.
The complete cob cutter is manufactured from 304 stainless steel and has adjustable feet for uneven flooring. A waste belt can be incorporated to remove waste from under the cutters, where there is normally a build up.
The blades are housed in a stainless steel enclosure. The motors are outside the enclosure away from water and dirt. Each blade is driven by a 2.2KW 380V motor, coupled to the blades by means of a coupling. The motors can quickly be removed, should they become faulty.
The unit is supplied with a stainless steel electrical starter box consisting of the following:
- Isolator
- D.O.L starter for cutter motors
- V.S.D. starter for the feed conveyor
- D.O.L starter for the waste belt
- Stop/start buttons for manual operation and
- Run Trip lights for indication
Power requirement is 380V and the unit draws approximately 11A
